Whittlesea Agricultural Show will be on Sunday the 6th of November. It is a single day show, however it is a long day as it is a 90min drive there and back. IT is a great day, EMC and Cairo attend the show and we all have a great time.

Sheep Showing Team Meetings
Every Tuesday and Friday lunchtime of Term 3 & 4
These meetings are at the Ag Hort Compound. During Term 4 it is compulsory to attend 1 meeting a week (This is as per normal for any member of the Sheep Showing Team). You will also be required to attend the Whittlesea Show Meeting at lunchtime on Friday the 4th of November, this is a regular meeting time however all Whittlesea show members must attend the Friday meeting instead of the Tuesday.
Feeding
Ongoing throughout Term 4
Feeding must be completed and up to date at all times for Whittlesea Show Members. If you reach 3 strikes in the feeding roster you will most certainly be asked to reconsider your position on the Whittlesea Show Team. Feeding is of the up most importance. Ensure you also check water when you feed.
Afternoon Sessions
Every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, 4-5pm of Term 4
At the Ag Hort, as a member of the 2011 Whittlesea Show Team you are advised to attend afternoon sessions. These sessions will be aimed mainly at preparing the animals for the show as there is no preparation days pre-planned. Individual Head Analysis could also be completed in these time slots.
Individual Head Analysis
Evaluation Task of your animal needs to be up to date by Friday Week 4, Term 4
The Individual Head Analysis is an evaluation Task of your sheep. This Task is to be up to date by all members of the team by Friday Week 4. It covers the weight, fleece, health and handling of your animal. All this information will be required at the Whittlesea Show. This Task is designed to make you more familiar with your animal and be able to answer the Judges Questions. It also lets us know who we need to teach to par, crutch, judge, examine fleece etc. You need to have also handed in and submitted your September Individual Head Analysis Sheet to be eligible to attend the Whittlesea Show.
Weekly Sheep Check
Ongoing Term 4,
This is a compulsory requirement to all team members however it is especially important you complete these checks each week for your principal sheep if you are attending any of the November Shows. Remember to publish your results weekly on the Wiki on you Principal Sheep Page.
Preparation Day 1- (TBA, only if necessary)
Saturday 5th of November 12am to 4pm (bring snack)
At the Ag Hort, this day may or may not run depending on how well the sheep have been prepared prior to Friday the 4th of November. On this day last minute preparations will be made, the trailer and feed will be made ready etc. If this day runs it will be compulsory unless under special request.
Whittlesea Show
Sunday 6th of November, arrive Ag Hort 6:30, Bus departs 7am
Everyone needs to arrive at Woodleigh at 6:30am sharp. As sheep and equipment need to be loaded promptly as we plan to depart at or before 7am. We will not wait for anyone who is late. We plan to arrive at Whittlesea at or before 8:30, Judging Starts at 9am.
Breakfast, we will not stop until we reach Whittlesea Show, if you not had your breakfast at home then we advise you pack your own as you will not have an opportunity to head off into the show until after Judging, 11am or so.
When we arrive last minute preparations will be completed, sheep will be penned, watered and fed.
